Singapore Tour

In order to broaden students’ horizons and offer them further exposure to the English language, a 4-day overseas exchange programme to Singapore was organized for 18 F5 students in late March. Activities include visits to universities and secondary schools to have exchanges and lessons with local students and visits to the New Water Visitor Centre to understand how Singaporean treats public water supply and plans their towns.

Let’s see how the participants felt about the tour…

What impressed me most in the exchange programme to Singapore was the visit to a local secondary school. My schoolmates and I played games with the students of that school, and soon became acquainted with them. Apart from that, this trip enabled me to have a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Singapore. I would like to thank the school for giving me this golden opportunity to learn more about other foreign culture.

When we arrived at a local school, the students of that school warmly welcomed us and told us about the history of their school. This trip not only enhanced my English speaking ability but also English listening ability in English. I was very happy that I could take part in the tour.
